Our kids, 8 and nearly 10, have lost their innocence – they know the Easter Bunny doesn’t exist.
But that didn’t stop my Wifey and me sneaking around on Easter Saturday night, laying a trail of bunny footprints. We started the trail at their bedrooms, weaved through rooms, over sofas and to the final hiding spot of their easter eggs!
I still remember their delight waking up early on Easter Sunday to find the footprints and then following them through the house. My Wifey and I just pretended and tried to sleep in.
The cool thing was that whilst we were sleeping in, the kids closed our door and then rearranged the footprints into a trail for us to their Easter cards made at school!
The footprints are easy to cut out – we did a Google, found some examples on the web and then drew and cut out our own.
