Here is a list of recordings on my blog.   It is part of a little blogging experiment – these are by no way final concert quality performances, they are the “behind the scenes” snapshots of learning a piece of music and the way it evolves, and possibly, the interpretation evolving over time.

  1. Hi Jason…

I happened to stumble upon your blog in a most peculiar way, and I’m glad I did.

I read with much interest your passion for music and photography, as I have similar ambitions. Although I have an ear for music, and dabble a bit with the keyboard, I’m not as proficient as you are on the violin.

I must say, your “behind the scenes learning snapshots” are hauntingly beautiful, and I absolutely love them, just the way they are…no tempo…no disiplined “perfection”…just raw.

They actually transported me to a place of reflection which cut deep to the core of my soul – leaving me breathless. To say I was mesmerized, is an understatement. I’ve been in the radio and music business for over 40 years.

In addition to production work, I’m a script and screenplay writer. At the moment I’m trying to put together a piece which I hope to produce in the near future.

A piece of music with a violin solo is something I had thought about for a small section of one of my films. Perhaps you’d consider letting me use a small piece of your playing of one of your “raw” tracks…with your permission of course.

My background is Radio & Television – having spent most of my life as an on-air broadcaster. I do a lot of production work as a voice over artist, but want to branch out a bit more and try other things.

By the way, where did you record your samples? Do you have your own studio? I do, here in my home in Florida.

I also love photography, but sadly don’t have the time to devote to the hobby.

Anyway, it’s nice to get a chance to talk to you. Oh…one more thing…

I also have an account on Word Press. How do you get your site to incorporate tabs for links, and an audio player for playing your tracks. That would be helpful to me as well.

Perhaps we can chat further. In the meantime, good luck with all your endeavors, and keep up the great work. I’ll be monitoring your blog for updates and comments as they’re added. Until then, have a great day, and Best Regards!
